Welcome to House Shows Direct!
You're officially part of the movement. Let's get your profile ready.
Your registration is complete — now it’s time to set up your artist profile so hosts and fans can find you, book you, and follow your journey. This page will walk you through everything you need to get your store profile, biography, and media looking great. It only takes a few minutes, and the walkthrough video below covers each step in detail.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Complete Your Social Profile — Before setting up your store, make sure your social profile is complete. This includes your banner photo, profile photo, and personal details on your member profile. These are the first things hosts and fans see when they visit your page.
- Access Your Vendor Dashboard — In the upper-right corner of any page, click the dropdown menu next to your avatar and select Vendor Dashboard. This is your central hub for managing everything on House Shows Direct — you’ll be coming back here often.
- Configure Your Store Settings — From the Vendor Dashboard, navigate to Settings → My Store. Here you’ll set up the public-facing store page that hosts and fans will see when they’re considering booking you. Fill in the following:
- Banner Photo — Upload a high-quality banner image for your store page (separate from your social profile banner).
- Profile Photo — Add or confirm your artist photo.
- Store Name — Use your artist name exactly as you want it displayed publicly.
- Store Category — Select Artists from the dropdown.
- Location — Skip the full address fields, but scroll down to the Map section and enter your city, state, and country. This helps hosts find local artists and lets fans know where you’re based.
- Contact Information — If you’d like hosts to reach you directly for booking inquiries, enter a phone number. Otherwise, check the box to display your membership email address publicly.
- Write Your Biography — Scroll down to the Biography section and write a brief artist bio. Keep it engaging and concise — tell people who you are, what kind of music you make, and what makes your live show worth booking.
- Add a YouTube Video — Within the biography section, click Add Media, then choose Insert from URL. Paste in the URL of a YouTube video — a live performance, a music video, or anything that gives hosts and fans a feel for your sound. This video will display directly on your store page.
- Save and Preview — Click Update Settings to save everything. Then scroll back to the top of the Vendor Dashboard and click Visit My Store to preview your public-facing artist page. You’ll see your bio, your YouTube video, and any products or events you’ve added — exactly as hosts and fans will see it.
